  PV power generation​ is a method of generating electricity by directly converting sunlight into electricity using solar panels. It is currently the most common form of solar power generation.

  A distributed PV system​ is essentially a small-scale PV power station built near the point of electricity consumption (e.g., on factory roofs, residential buildings). It is typically connected to the distribution grid at a relatively low voltage level (35 kV or below). The electricity it generates is primarily for local consumption, with any excess fed into the grid for balance.

This type of system mainly operates in two modes:

  1.”Self-consumption with surplus feed-in”: The electricity generated is used on-site first. Any surplus is then sold to the grid.

  2.”Full feed-in”: All electricity generated is sold to the grid.

The principle of distributed generation is: adapting to local conditions, clean and efficient, decentralized layout, and local utilization. The core idea is to make full use of local solar resources to replace and reduce the consumption of fossil fuels like coal and oil.
